cheap but good photo processing?

I hope this is the best place for this question. I have a lot of digital pics to get processed - probably 600+. I used to use photobox, which were fine, but I can't really afford to do that now unless there are offers. Can anyone recommend anywhere that does cheap printing but where the quality is still good? I did a few recently at Asda but I thought they were really dark, so I'll probably avoid them just in case.
Thanks :-)
Thanks :-)

I had 250 done at Asda and they were the best photos ever!
I guess you may also need a recommedation of the shop and location as it might be down to the callibration of the individual machine?0 -
Not sure if you have one near you but I had a load done last Christmas at Costco, really cheap and really pleased with the quality. I did have sepia ones done though so not sure about colour.0

For years I have used Bonusprint.
They always perform well in comparative tests in the magazine, their turnaround is fast if only one size of print is ordered (If more than one size your order takes more time to collate from the different machines used).
They have an offer on at the moment but not sure if its just for new customers.
I have used many other processing firms but they just don't seem to bring out the detail I want. I use Bonusprint for their quality and service more than just price, as I frequently sell framed prints of my photos in all sizes.
Their photo books make are really useful personal gifts for Xmas etc.

I use Aldi photos for mine, I have a lot of odd shaped photos and they cut them to the right length, which doesn't half cut down on the guillotine time!
I also use Snapfish occasionally, but with the Aldi ones being only slightly thinner and having a fairly decent colour print they turn out a lot cheaper for the bulk sets I need.
If you register on a few different photo websites and get the free photos for doing so (lots of them do this offer, or at least cheap ones just for postage) - you can work out which place prints best for you.0 -
