Need a dress

Drea
On the 6th September I have been invited to my boss's party. They are quite 'posh' so I'm going to have to dress up a bit
I was thinking of wearing a dress, but having trouble choosing one. I don't want something that's too in your face but at the same time I don't want to fade into the crowd. Also, it needs to be cheap
Any ideas?

Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.

I also highly recommend TK Maxx...
You have to have a good luck around, but you can get some decent cocktail dresses there. Also because you dont always get the same stock coming through it would be less likely that you would end up wearing the same outfit as someone else.
There are quite a few sales on and i just saw a few dresses in warehouse in the sale- check out www.warehouseoutlet.co.uk (though don't think these are that dressy imo- better in the store). You could also try Primark and alike... they have 'prom dresses'. True alot of people will have these, but you could do a Gok Wan and customise!?!? Just depends how bothered you are!!!0 -
Another vote for TKMaxx here. And Outfit (who sell Warehouse, Principles, Wallis, Topshop etc) have sales on at the moment, so they might be worth a rummage?2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead0

There is a 70% off sale at Monsoon and it may sounds mad /dodgy but i have got some fab dresses from ebay at great prices. Most of them new with tags. Or you can use a Littlewoods/ Additions code as a one off like a £30 of £50 spend and just pay for it outright if you don't want to go the credit route.Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!0

hello
i can highly recommend debut dresses by debenhams, i have several and always buy via the website as they always come still in wrapping so no-one has ever tried them on.
prices range from £70-£150. i am usually a sz 12 but always a sz10 from debut range.0
