One I read today on sharing harvests from food grown in gardens that would often go to waste.

Interesting read. That sort of thing does happen in some communities already. My mum grew a lot of stuff some years back and it was always shared around with friends and neighbours. Same sort of thing happens in our neighbourhood (thank goodness)..........in fact an old chap turned up this morning with a small marrow for us...we'd given him some runner beans the other week. We don't grow a lot, just stuff in pots so we're limited some people living on their own who garden for the sheer pleasure of it are happy to share what they have.
Not sure what happens in other areas.Mary
