Hope you are aware of the ink cartridge gotcha - make sure you can get cheap replacement cartridges or you are effectively renting it.

I've just got back from buying one from Argos;
Brother DCP-110C 3-in 1.CAT NO 670/0926
Seems to be v.g. value at 49.99 and consumables are not too expensive either.
I'm only changing my printer because the last one was a Lexmark and it costs almost that amount to replace the ink cartidges!
If anyone reading this thinks they are rubbish,reply quickly,and I'll take it back before I get it out the box!!
