Sunday 24/08/08 What small dfw things have you done today???

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

Today I will:
  • update spreadsheets
  • check online banking
  • do clicks
  • Make a loaf in breadmaker
  • Storecupboard meals
  • Swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership if i have time tonight
  • Use up runner beans and spuds from garden at lunchtime
  • Share trip to hospital again to share petrol and car parking costs
Back to the rain here today, sunshine managed to last to the afternoon yesterday but then back to winter again:rolleyes: .Have a good day everyone.
Sans nice to see you posting again:D enjoy the trip to Spain.
Tallie don't worry about the job situation there will be other opportunities in the future once the debts are out of the way:D,have missed your posts during the week.

Well we've rescheduled the Boot Fair for a hopefully less rain-soaked BH Monday

    So today I have/will
    • listed dozens of books on Amazon. I was going to give up doing the kids books and suddenly one of the £2.99 paperbacks had a lowest price of £19.95    Heaven knows who would pay that amount for a pre-owned modern kids paperback :confused: Needless to say, mine went on for £15 :o
    • going to clear the sitting room up, but NOT for the return of the Boot Fair stuff :rotfl: I hope :o
    • May list some more valuable stuff on e-bay. I'm bored with the 99p stuff
    • Get up to date with surveys.
    • LSD, I will get a paper and a few bits.
