New Build Home Buy - Mortgage for 1 person with defaults and 1 with good credit histo

Hello,

I've been trying to follow the threads about Mortgage Advisors charging a fee or not. I was wondering where to look for a whole of market advisor? From the threads I've read I think this is the type of advisor we need?

My boyfriend and I would like to part buy part rent a new build property in Harrow. I have a bad credit history with defaults against me but my boyfriend has a good credit history but does not earn enough to get the mortgage alone. Any advise would be much appreciated......

yell.com ... search for mortgage adviser and make sure they are whole of market. Reasonable fee will be between 300-500 depending on loan size. This will be worthwhile as I find it unlikely due to your bad credit that you will find a high street lender
I am a Whole of Market Mortgage Adviser

I think there was a mention of Yell.com recently in which they did not provide a good (advertising) service for mortgage brokers - so possibly steer clear...the internet will provide you with all the information you need. Just search for Independent whole of market mortgage advisers.
