Rugby will take over a landmark London location when the O2 Scrum on the Beach arrives at Trafalgar Square on Thursday, August 28, in association with London Summer of Sport.
From 11am to 8pm Nelson's Column and the National Gallery will overlook a unique urban beach rugby festival that will be visited by members of the England squad and attract thousands of participants and spectators.
As well as taking part on the sand, players and fans can meet some of the England stars, test out their skills in the Play Zone and enjoy a day of live entertainment.
O2 customers can expect a VIP welcome in the blueroom. You can get a massage from an O2 Angel, collect autographs and have the chance to win the 'O2 Tour Bus', a customised England rugby VW Camper kitted out with the latest entertainment system and complete with surf board.
Sally Cowdry, Marketing Director O2 UK, said: "It’s fantastic that we can end this summer’s O2 Scrum on the Beach series on such at highpoint at an iconic landmark in the heart of London. We look forward to welcoming rugby fans, rugby players and their families down to enjoy a great day of action-packed rugby and live entertainment.

I thought it looked good! - even if not a Rugby fan the urban beach etc looks different and worth seeing (where else could you see this?) & live entertainment sounds good - you never know what you'll find in Trafalgar Square! - a good follow on from all the Olympic stuff there - - specially good for 02 users.
