Forgot to use my £5 off £30 Tesco voucher at the checkout!

As above, I was busy packing bags whilst the other half paid in a rush and forgot to use our voucher!

Customer Services in store wouldn't do a thing saying their systems don't allow them to do it and apparently there was no one in store that had the authority to do such a thing... :rolleyes:

HO is closed at the moment so I will be giving them a bell during opening hours in the week.

Has anyone else been a dozy sod and forgot to use your voucher? How far did you get trying to get Tesco to refund it or suchlike and do I stand a chance?

I did this the other week and went straight to the CS desk with my receipt and voucher, who promptly gave me £5 cash, even though I'd paid on my credit card.

I saw someone trying to do this but they refused at the Customer Service Desk, said that she had to do it at the till.

Depends on what customer service desk staff are like. Some will do anything, some are jobsworths.
Most of the people at my store are friendly enough and would have given you the £5 back,

I had several 100 points pharmacy vouchers which do not go through at the till. Worcester have added the points on two occaisions. 100 on the one shop, 200 on another. Kidderminster refused point blank yesterday saying they do not have a pharmacy counter! :mad:

Going to pop into Worcester this week and try to get them added. £4 of deals is £4.

Yep I forgot to use mine the other week in Stratford. They wouldnt give me back to the money--said the system wouldnt allow it

Done this before and went to CS desk where they took the voucher off me and gave me £5 in cash, I just said the till didn't accept it and lady told to come down here.

Yep, OH did the same last Tuesday (Hall Green Birmingham) - no quibble at all.

Perhaps we should start a list of the 'good guys' in Tesco CS and encourage everyone to shop there and boycott the jobsworths.
