More SOA Questions

I have more or less completed my SOA, but there are still some things I am unsure of.

1. Do have to declare my new co-op cashminder account? This account was opened so I can use it after bankruptcy, there is no money in it. Should I use section 13 to mention this account and what it will be used for (we will be having our benefits paid into this account after bankruptcy) or put it down in the section where it asks about bank accounts?

2.I haven't listed my benefits seperatly, I put them down in one lump sum. Should I use section 13 to explain what the benefits are? Both me and my dh are going bankrupt and the benefits we having coming in are: DLA, Child Benefit, Income Support, Council Tax & Housing Benefit.

Thanks

Jaks

    1. You need to declare the Coop account in section 5.4. Make sure that you mark it as a basic account that your income will be paid into.

    2. You should really itemise them in Q 6.6. If there isn't room, then do that in section 13.

I opened my Co Op account prior to BR. I did list it as
    already said by another member.

When you have your quick talk with OR after seeing judge. Just point out that it is your new account, and your benefits go in there. My OR was fine sounded bit off that I had opened it first BUT was fine when i said I needed access to the money for feeding us. I was told they would write to bank to say they have no interest. After the OR had confirmed the balance.

    Hope this helps

I have now printed out my SOA as there is no more info that needs to go in there, with exception to updated balances on my creditors statements, but I doubt they need to be 100% up to date on the date of bankruptcy do they?

There was no room on the online form to put down the seperate benefits, but when I printed the form out the box where I put the amount of benefits I have coming in was large enough to write down the individual benefits - is that ok to do?

I will write a note in section 13 to state what the co-op cashminder account is going to be for - I put down nill balance in the bank account section - is that ok? as I am not using this account until after bankruptcy.

Hi Jaks, sounds like you're ready. You're correct that the balances don't have to be exact, if you've done them from last months statements you'll be fine.

Everything else you asked above should be fine too.

    Good luck!
