How long does it take to go BR?

Ive been reading some of the replies on here and I've noticed that it can take months to get to court to go BR...is it a long process or does it take longer as ppl need to get fees n such? Say if you decided it was for you, charities agreed and you managed to get fees, how long would it take then?

then its only a matter of booking an appt for court when they can fit you in...some courts its a few weeks some a little shorter and some offer a walk in service...you'd have to ring to check

Contact your local court and ask. Mine had a back log so took nearly 8 weeks.

Some courts operate on a 'just turn up' basis so you can go anytime you're ready.

  • I had to go to the court twice, first to pay money and then to see judge a few days later, just depends on court.
