I just made my very first batch of Mamade!
I had some new jars from Lakeland and I sterilised the jars in the oven, but I only washed the lids.
Will it be ok? or should I take the lids off quicklty while the marmalade is till hot in the jars give them a quick boil in water and reattatch?

I wouldn't think it would be a problem. Are the lids new? Even used, a good wash will be enough0

The lids are new too.
I hoped to make some for presents, but maybe will keep this lot for myself and do another lot with sterilised lids.
