Advice Please From Useless Shopper

I wish to buy a cable that would connect my laptop to my television the problem is I do not even know what it is called. Somebody said a standard pc to monitor cable would be okay but they are £34.99 in Currys. Apparently it is a cable that connects to a blue mini scart socket in back of Tv to back of laptop.

Sorry to be so vague but do not really understand computers. I just wondered if anyone could recommend somewhere to purchase the required cable at a reasonable price. Thank you all in advance

if you search for laptop to tv cable in google some options come up. it depends what sort of pin you have in the back of your laptop.

should be able to get one for much cheaper than that though. we got one off ebay for about a fiver!

if the cable goes to 3 pins (red white and yellow) you can get an adapter to plug these into a scart socket.
