Unwanted memory foam topper - any other uses?

Hi, I've been a lurker for a while but redundancy now forces me to step up my moneysaving efforts! I have a memory foam mattress topper which I hate and no longer use and was going to put it on freecycle to get rid of it. I wonder though if there is another use I can put it to? Its a double sized one and is quite a thick one. Also, I wonder if there is another use for baby moses basket/crib/pram sized mattresses?
I am determined to be more thrifty and practical but am hopeless with a needle and thread so I fear this will limit me, hopefully not too much. After reading these threads for a while, I've acquired a breadmaker and have treated myself to a slow cooker in an effort to be more thrifty, both of which I intend to try out this weekend.
Finally, I wondered if there is a thread for different uses for everyday things i.e. uses other than the intended use? I have done a search but couldn't find anything. I am a reformed shopaholic so have all manner of things in this house, mostly which aren't used in shoved in the loft! I was pleased with myself as I recently used old leg warmers as carrier bag holders (the holders in Lakeland gave me the idea - I'm not that creative, lol!).
All suggestions/comments/words of advice welcome! Many thanks in advance.

I think I'd be tempted to cut it into sections, stack a few together and cover to make back rests for when you're sitting in bed reading.....or maybe make a stack and cover as a foot rest/pouffe kind of thing.
I love my topper tho so it will be staying on the bed

Have you got a friend or relative you could donate the mattress topper to?
Could it be used as insulation in the loft?
Could it be used under your sofa cushions in some way to bolster them?

Could you fill old pillow cases to make pillows? (I too, love mine, it's like sleeping on a cloud
)
Or donate to my big sis she is currently looking for one as she is jealous of mine as she has had a fall at work and has sleeping/pain issues:rotfl:0 -
I also love my mattress topper, I'd go for either having another try with it or donate it to someone, I think it would be a shame to chop it up.Piglet

lagging for a hot water tank? use it to make a headboard. You could staple the fabric over so no sewing required.0
