Debt, Gambling, Depression and need positivity

Hi guys
Just wanted some advice and more importantly some postivity really.
I lost a load of money (£2,800) gambling. My girlfriend found out and our relationships a bit of a mess now understandably.
Ive worked out a plan to stop gambling (gamblock, gamcare and payment plan) but everythings really taking its toll on me.
I suffer with depression, panic attacks and other associated problems anyway and with my girlfriend very distant at the moment (again, i fully understand), im struggling.
The money is owed on a Virgin Credit Card, an HSBC loan and ovedraft. i am about to pay the remaining £459 off of the loan this morning with my pay packet but just wanted some positivity really.
I find being on my own very hard but with everything ive no energy or will do actually go and do something. Everything seems a bit pointless.
Is there any small things I could do at home to earn a bit of extra cash? I've heard stories of people puts nuts and bolts together and writing out envelopes etc.
Thanks

I've just started entering the competitions (July 07). When I win I'll update this signature. Look on the bright side, I shouldn't have to update it very often.

Hi there and welcome aboard!
First of all, look how far you have come so far.....you have stopped gambling, you have made moves to stay away from temptation, and you are repaying the debt you have accrued.
These are all positive things - you should be proud of these - look at them and tell yourself that you have done well so far.
OK, so you have still got a way to go, and the temptation will always be there for you to overcome, but you have done well so far. Very well.
There is an "up your income" board on this site, where there are loads of ideas for earning bits and pieces of extra money. Head over there and mooch around, and you will almost certainly find things that take your fancy.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Welcome to the board.
Firstly, you realised very quickly that gambling isn't for everyone, £2800 isn't a huge amount of debt, so I congratulate you for taking the steps now and not later.
You have no need to feel alone on this board, there are many many peeps on here to offer you support and help.
If you wish us to help you with reducing your monthly outgoings in order to repay this debt sooner rather than later, please post an SOA (a full list of incomings and outgoings) and we will do all we can to help.
How is your credit rating? Could you transfer the debt onto a low APR card, the Abbey national were doing a zero percent card with no balance transfer fee, I'll try and find the link to it.
Do you have any further debt?
If we can help you take positive steps in repaying this debt, just maybe your OH will see you are taking the lead and will most likely see you are trying to amend your ways.
Furthermore, we are not here to judge you but to help, I do hope you are able to post an SOA.
