Shared Ownership mortgage with defaults

thanks for that tiddler!
i have spoken to london and country today as reccomended by martin himself on this website! as they are "whole of market and fee free"!
as i have been declined from halifax even tho my application came back as a pass"c"!! he told me that they are very fussy at the halifax....but did tell me also that my case was difficult as its a shared ownership mortgage and also i have 2 defaluts thus maing it even harder!
he told me theres about 7 lenders who will deal with shared ownership, halifax and hsbc being two of them. he seemed quite confident that i could get a mortgage from a lender who is "mainstream" i.e not just sub-prime who would look at my case even tho i have defaults??
any ideas who these could be? and does anyone know the other 5 lenders who deal with shared ownership???
thank you! think this site is excellent!0 -
Ask London & Country. They seem to have all the answers.I am a Mortgage Consultant and don't like to be told what I can and can't put in a signature so long as it's legal and truthful.0
