    aww thank you, thank you lovely people. Just home thankfully. Generally nursing care was great and managed to get a few doses of morphine and was (after negociation) sent home with extra pain killers so should be ok. Worst bit was waking up in agony after the op and having the drain removed this am but thankfully since thats gone pain hasnt been as intense. Now I just have to rest, sleep and watch carp tv while taking lovely drugs. Think it will be longer recovery than ast time as the incision is pretty muh from one side of my back to other and just above bum so sitting v. painful as all streatches.
    Thank you so much for your lovely messages - just read them to mum & she said "its like a little family isnt it!"..
    An extra special thank you to Bob who sent me lots of lovely texts to cheer me up and assisted by being my researcher last night as I couldnt do a wee and absolutely didnt want a catheter!! Blessed relief when I did and cheers from the nurses!!
    Even better I got back to a cheque for my tax rebate!!! Didint get the kimono done and went n my sloppy old jumper...still wearing my sugery stockings...dead sexy. Thanks for the offer wol...am ok as mum is here and I'm being waited on! Molly what a lovely post...am exceptionally proud of you and all on the thread. Keep going!!

    Glad you are safe and sound and hope your mum doesn't get too tired as well. Hopefully you will be very comfortable with lovely drugs coursing through your veins...and brill news in the tax rebate, i am still waiting for mine.
    surgery stockings are great and you can use them on planes as well so very MSE. x

    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    just had lovely sleep and now going to have a wash as cant have a bath for ages...more pain killers and just chilling but taken lovely tights off as they are very tight but will put them on later...eltan allotment is a disaster - totally overgrown! just going to weed kill the lots and start again...
