I have never used an SS till in boots before. Can anyone tell me what happens if you cant get your voucher to scan? I have used a few of the Mitchum vouchers and not one of them scanned. They were all put through manually. If it doesnt scan on the SS, can you type in the code like the SA's do or does an SA have to come over and do it for you? I think I may give the SS till a try this week with the Mitchum vouchers.

Have been Bootsing for a couple of years, but never manage to keep up with the thread, it moves so fast!! I pop in now and then to check on the bargains!
By the way, Coventry Arena Boots has the No 7 suncare at 1/2 price.

I have 2 Roc voucher for £5 off Retin-Ox+ range.It came inside a 12-week challenge box that I got really cheap at the big sale. The barcode is not one of those that has the value at the end... Has anyone tried using one of these for other ROC stuff or more than 1 in a single transaction? TIA

Just caught up on the last 20 or so pages and am loving the comments about Eldon Square Boots. I too am lucky enough to live in Newcastle and have to say most of the SA's are brilliant. I've mentioned before one SA who really seems to enjoy telling you about what's on offer/reduced etc and goes out of her way, including getting off her till to find items for people. I think she might just work weekends as I've not seen her during the week.
My best shop yesterday was:
TS long hair serum & TS blonde shampoo 1p
No 7 Summer 08 bronzing pallette free with pinky
Mitchum roll-ons x 3 87p with 50% coupons
TD cleansing wipes free with tillspit
Total 88p & another tillspit & pinky
I also noticed they had some men's No7 gift sets in a wash bag for either 6.00 or 6.50 just in front of the tills, so could probably use the pinky & pay 1.00/1.50. Would make a nice pressie.
This branch often has surplus stocks of 'old' GWP (the Olay one at the moment) and puts them out with handmade signs stating a minimum spend, usually free with 5.00 spend on any skincare.

I always check mine & DD's card in machine to see what's on offer - is it just me or have they all dried up? I got offered extra points on plus £30 and that was it .

Thanks for tips re perfume - I got 1/2 price Ecape & DKNY to go :j .

Off to lie down in darkened room as I spent over £100 of points on above plus big bottle of Tresor & lippy (& then got free Lancome goody bag). Oooooohhhh, it hurt! SA says she's exactly the same, what a sad bunch we all are .

You won't know me because I'm only just getting into the Boots collecting - but...........................WOW!!!!

I've been following everything for the last week or so and although my smallish store doesn't have SS tills or many of gwps it does have the suncare at half price and bogof . So I've already got 3 No7 gwp for £5 each. (No mascara's though).

Sadly they've had no mags at all this month, so no TS or TD points But, I'm getting the idea.

Yhis thread is inspirational. I know I won't be able to collect in quite the same way - unless I move :rolleyes: , but I'm on the right road.
