I had problems with a previous voucher I was emailed- the one where you got a free eyeliner when you bought a product from Rimmel. Anyway, the SA refused to take it and made me feel very embarrassed about using it- I emailed Boots who apologised and gave me 500pts on my card which was very kind of them.

    Hi Sarah-t,

If I were you I would phone up customer services on Tuesday and explain what happened with your sister's voucher.
Sounds like the SA's had not been told about the voucher and she didn't know what to do when it wouldn't scan. I am sure they will apologise and refund you/her the £5 as you met all the t&c's of the voucher.
Good luck, and let us know how you get on!

I used 2 £5 off £30 yesterday. First wasnt question, just put through manually. Second I was paying with points for some perfume, and SA said I couldnt use it when paying with points. I asked her to give it a try as there wasnt anything on there saying I couldnt, she questioned where it was from etc, then tried it - it worked but she still called over her supervisor to check! Supervisor didnt seem to care less!

Also, had a SA earlier in the week who was amazing - she was amazed by my finds and helped me find a few more products I could get free with the vouchers which weren't on the shelves (apparently they were removing things that were under £5!) I told her about this site, then spotted her in a different boots yesterday with her mum and a basket full of glitches!!!
