the answer to first question is yes and the second question i think it takes off the cheapest item and leave you with the rest to pay but not 100% on this one. but that would make sense

Yep to the 2 serums and yes to the two long hair range items. You can have any other item you like long hair or not - but one of the items has to be from the long hair range to work. I alternated so got the serum lots of times but one with shampoo, one with conditioner, 1 with mousse etc so getting the full range!!
