  • Hi girls. I've not been around much lately. You may remember DP & I split up in May so money has been a bit tight. Got a bonus at work last week so had a little spend today!
Managed to get the new No7 Eye Autumn Eye Pallette for free using £5 pinkie. They were sent to my local boots in error so they are selling them reduced as they don't have the space to sell them apparently! Also got a bottle of Dune reduced to £12.50. They had loads of poison - all three types - I know someone was asking whether this was reduced. Also managed to get some reduced nappies for my little one so pleased with my shop today!

I Have just caught up with the last page and would like to thank everyone who has posted messages to me and those who have also sent PM's. I am bowled over by what I have read and so is my OH. I cannot begin to thank you enough for your thoughts, good wishes and all round support.

Initially I was doubtful about posting anything, and sat with the message on the screen for almost an hour before I finally clicked the button to post.

Thanks is such a small word and does not convey enough, but I don't know any other words which will say what all those messages mean to me, so I will say thanks x a million.

To everyone who sent me PM's I haven't had a chance to reply to any but will do so over this weekend. Also to those who I already owe a reply, I will also answer yours.:o

I went to Boots in L'pool city centre today and although I knew that Minx 01 & Liverbird were going in too, we had not made any arrangements.

So it was a sheer fluke to find myself at the number 7 counter and to overhear a conversation about Mitchum vouchers. With ears flapping, I turned around to find 2 'strangers' who I just had to ask if it was them.... and it was!!! SA's must have thought we were crazy, grown woman giggling & hugging in the middle of Boots.

It was amazing as I had no idea what they looked like or what time they were going shopping or anything. Just by sheer chance we were in the same place at the same time.(And it's a big city) They had heard me however as I had just knocked over a display on the Lancôme counter:rotfl: :rotfl:

Problem was I had a picture in my mind of what they looked like, one blonde, one dark, and I was right except it was the wrong way round, and I kept calling them by the wrong name.:confused:

But it was lovely and we got on like a house on fire. 2 great ladies, and such a great sense of humour and they cheered me up tremendously. Thank you girls for a great day, and loads of laughs, and its good to see that Minx made it home on the train with all those Boots bags.:rotfl: :rotfl:

I was in Bon Accord this afternoon, spent quite a while there. :rotfl: I had a red top and jeans on, long brown curly hair.

Did you have a child with you? And was the woman giving away free samples of James Brown dry hair shampoo near you too??

You def sound like the woman who was nearly down on her knees at the TS section!

    Hey all,

    How we all doing tonight?

I was wondering if anyone who has a R&M white make up bag spare could drop me a pm.

Also, if anyone has a spare R&M aqua eye palette, pm me please.

Sorry to be so cheeky but I think these items are fab, but my store doesn't stock them :(

  • I bought Armani Code for £24 and Stella for ?£16.50 - Ive lost the receipt!! Lots of other reductions on store, in amongst the other perfumes but with a Yellow SEL. Had hoped to get free body lotion with something (not sure which perfume) but the SA told me none of the reduced perfumes came with a free body lotion and had no intention of trying! The Armani was a wee pressie for my fab mum so got it anyway but might try another store tomorrow.
