  • Loads of people seem to be having problems with SA's.
Yesterday I went to spend a couple of pinkies and I had a TS mag coupon.
Went to till and put all my bits on the counter. I had a couple of glossy locks on BOGOF I wanted to use one pinkie on and a clearance No.7 'wallet' thing with brushes and manicure stuff for £6.50. I put the glossy locks down with one pinkie, the wallet with another pinky and I said the rest of the stuff could go through in another transaction.
SA first said I could only have one glossy locks with one voucher and I needed another for the second bottle. I told her that as it was BOGOF they should both go through. She said 'watch' as she put them through and then the voucher. She wasn't best pleased to charge me only 75p for them both.
Then she put through TS LH wrap and Shampoo, a damask hand therapy kit reduced to 1.19, an essentials bath tub of goo for 88p and charged £9 something. I handed over the mag voucher and it went down to £3.08. She then tried to add on the No.7 wallet but it wouldn't accept it because she said there was something wrong with the bar code. She then tutted and said she'd have to go to the other end of the shop to get a code. I said OK. When she finally got back she said she'd have to put it through separately so cancelled everything and started again. She scanned it all again and tried to charge me £9. I said she needed to use the mag voucher I'd given her which she had put in the till. So she had to void everything again to get into the till, and do it all again! She was huffing and puffing and tutting all the while. Eventually she got it all to work. There was some talk of getting something else to make up the transaction to get more vouchers but decided it wasn't worth it. Finally when she put the wallet through I only had to pay £1.50 because of the pinkie and I got another pinkie and a till spit and a survey! She was well and truly p***ed off. So I went down the other end of the store and got another couple of glossy locks and picked up an olay hand treatment but it was the fragrance free one. That SA had no problems cancelling the hand cream and actually told me they'd run out of the other one. What a difference in attitude.

I had great pleasure in filling in the survey online complaining about the SA whose name I got off the till receipts. I also left my phone number so they can contact me if necessary as I was that annoyed.
It does put you off going back into Boots though.

I used one today to get BOGOF essentials kids stuff, got two Hair and Body washes for the kids for 99p. I then used another for free blemish gel when you buy any other expert item. I got a reduced Expert bubble bath for 38p and got the gel free!
Probably wont use the rest of them but happy that at least got my stamp money back!

Is mf £2 off ending 595 old or new? x
old it seems ikkle (wanted to call you pickle then!  )
  • Glasgow Fort had Mens TD for under a fiver today. Also had reduced wooden Revlon brushes which were marked as reduced to £4 but went through at £2.
Found some socks for 75p with 50 points back and used some till spits to get a Ruby and Millie make up bag, some TD and a No7 nail kit thing that was £4.

Not a bad wee shop but a bit disappointed as recently I've been lucky and got lots of goodies, still got lovely stuff for very little money.
