just when I get up the courage to use the mitchum vouchers....everyone seems to have a prob with em...I'm gonna have to use some rescue remedy before trying these at this rate! lol

ive been using 3 at a time and had no trouble 3 had to be typed in manually , they were all done by SA as no SS here , 2 SA have said where did i get them from but only in a " i want some of that" way as opposed to thinking they were fake

It is so tempting, esp if you are going friday...but with the way things are this week, I'd have to end up selling MR BB's body, and I'm not sure I'd get much

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

  • Phew.....just read through about 15 pages since I went out this morning to Bluewater...this thread moves fast!

Had a successful day Bootsing, though there was no reduced Ruby and Millie left in Bluewater (completely sold out) so was disappointed at that. Did manage to get JK files x 6 which gave me 1500 points to go towards buying my daughter her winter coat with points. Also treated DS to a jumper with points. (They are twins and I just cant buy one without the other). Got 5 packs of Time Delay wipes (free with spits), Time Delay Toner (free with spit), No.7 Quilted Bag - the medium one, (free with spit), No.7 Sponge for removing make-up (free with spit). No.17 eyeshadow which was marked up at £3.29 so picked up Eye Dazzle and Old GWP on top of shelf where No.17 is. Eye dazzle would not scan and eyeshadow came up as 1.60. I was on self service and was about to leave it all when a young male SA came over. I just blurted out, it wont scan, I think Ive got the wrong eyeshadow (panic panic panic:eek:. He said never mind and put it through for me, so got the three items for 1.60!! :D Also got MF mascara with £2 off PC voucher, free eyeliner and Max Factor GWP!! To top it all I got a pinkie and a spit for No.7 to go through together so got the new autumn eyeliner for nothing!! :D

The whole experience above left me highly stressed:eek:, but happy when I got back to the car. Twins screamed throughout it all, hubby kept going on about TS stuff and doing me head in (Im sure he thinks he's helping but he just makes me feel like a shoplifter). No LH serums at all - in fact LH stuff thin on the ground altogether.

So a good experience all in all. I think Bluewater is just so busy that it makes it a little easier to do the transactions at SS. Still didnt find a reduced TS wash bag for hubby though. Kicking myself that I didnt get the one I saw for £3.75 in Ramsgate.

    Sorry for the long post....ooooops!

I bought a couple of Oral B vitality toothbrushes reduced at £12 each (£24 in total) and got 1500 points using the voucher!
Wow - well done ! It's the Oral B vitality that bleeped for me (the white ?.. one). Did voucher have to be added manually ?

Oh wow, didn't realise you were local :D

There's the big one in town, in The Precinct (near M&S and the fountain) and the SAs in there can be a bit 'hit and miss' ;) They're usually happier to try voucher combos downstairs I've found. It does usually have 2 or 3 good clearance shelves though, 2 upstairs and 1 downstairs (wasn't one downstairs though when I went in on Sunday). There's another smaller one in town, by Primark, but I don't really tend to bother with that one :)

There's another big one at Central 6, by the railway station. That one has all the 'high end' brands like Chanel, Benefit, Estee Lauder etc..... and usually has a couple of good clearance shelves too. I've tried my cheekiest glitches at that one and although I've raised a few eye-brows there, they've never refused me anything :D

sorry - edited to add: there's a few others dotted around the city, including a big one at the Richo (by the football ground) but I've never tried any offers/glitches in those ones, so not sure what they're like for them :)
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that :p

    No probs :)

Can I just say to everyone though that I think combining the HP PC and 1/3 off mailing voucher will blow the glitch. That's if they will scan on top of the HP PC?!

If you have both, then why not use the HP PC which expires 31 oct now and save the 1/3 mailing which expires at the year end till it is on offer again if you need more? Or share your 1/3 off on the thread to others who did not get any?

Sorry if i'm sounding preachy, but I really think the use of say 2 x expert HP PC and the 1/3 off mailing is way too risky!

I agree. Judging by experiences being posted on here at the moment, SA's seem to be getting wise to us exploiting glitches and some don't appear to be enjoying it as much as us!!! :rotfl: Whilst I think making the most of offers and vouchers is great, within reason, I'm a little nervous about the offers which result in Boots actually giving us back money - this is the kind of exploitation that is going to spoil things IMO.

(like broclo, I appologise for being preachy - but I love Bootsing and getting all these lovely things for so little money - I'm loving paying pennies for so much, but getting money back, or off shopping just seems wrong to me - just my opinion though, each to his or her own :happyhear )

I can't remember the original price of the 2 vitality brushes I got but the till thought I'd spent more than £30 when really the 2 only came to £24. The voucher didn't bleap either, but I mentioned earlier tonight, it was about 6 weeks ago......!

    *crosses fingers for you*

If .comloverlee is reading and is thinking of travelling to Bridlington again - it's not worth the travelling unless you need the Boots mag :) I plucked up the courage to go there yesterday and it was rubbish. Sod's law lol.

Hi passion8, lovely to see you back!
I'm not getting out much, and my local Boots is rubbish, no mags, no TS long hair, no Jemma Kidd, NO CHOCCIE BUTTONS, nothing to grab with the ts and pinkies, and when I bought 2xtan maintainers on BOGOF (not half price!) I was asked if I had a voucher to use, and when I said yes, I had the gwp taken off me! Huh!
Hoping to get away to a 'real' Boots before my lovely vouchers/ts/pinkies expire...... I WANT that gwp!:rolleyes2
Have you seen scorpiokitten's wondrous hoard?!!!! The first thing I thought when I saw those juicy photies was, "I wish my local Boots had half her stock!!!!!!"

Ahh.... oh Wise Ones......I do have a question......
The Mitchum vouchers. My local do have Mitchum, and I'm enough of a masochist to try some of Broclo's best 50%ers - but I only have a black printer. When I say, 'No, they're not photocopies, I printed them off the website', does anyone know where they really did come from?:rotfl: originally? Would be nice to have some facts to back 'em up!
