I was wondering about this too. I don't like using MOC's at the best of times, and I'm too chicken to try giving more than one of a kind to an SA but the fact that so many people are having trouble with these Mitchum vouchers scanning has made me not wanna try them on a SS till. When you press "Coupon", am I right in thinking there is an option called something like "I can't scan in the coupon", does this let you type the code in? Never pressed that before. Would they therefore go through fine on SS tills if I did this?

there is a cant scan voucher button but if you press it it calls for a sa to show her card thingy (very expertly described again Pash! lol) and she has to manually add the vouchers... I did this the other day and the sa was fine and added the vouchers manually no problem :T

Had a little trip to Sutton Coldfield this afternoon in search of ts long hair stuff. The sels said reduced to £2.50 and I thought how crafty. You would then only get the £2.50 knocked off the £7. First place I have seen this, anyone else seen it?
In some ways I'm not surprised they have decided to clamp down on it - but this doesn't seem to be in all stores, as I managed to do 5 separate TS shops in my local store today, all for either the 1p or £1.01 - I had to use my daughter for some, & disguise them with other purchases, but after 5 I felt I'd better stop! I still have a couple of vouchers yet (aiming to make up a couple of haircare sets as Xmas presents), so it will scupper my plan if they do this at my store. So off to Boots again in the morning (should I go in disguise, do you think  ?
(We've got used to this being virtually free - but actually, at £2.50 it's quite a bargain - buy a couple & you get the set of vouchers too!)

Arghhh no that's too scary for me lol :rotfl:No Mitchum's for me then haha. Nevermind, I'd probably be allergic to them anyway...

Just a quick post to say hi to all the lovely Boots posters, old and new, and especially pollsdolls.

Haven't been online for various reasons - having no internet access, holidays (didn't go anywhere btw), and recently another house flood that ruined a few ceilings, carpets and clothes, (but which missed my Boots stash completely  ) Only a couple of posters know this but I sometimes feel panicky when I'm shopping and when it happens I have to get out of the shop and that's happened recently too, once when I was mid-conversation with Rubes (If you're reading this Rubes, sorry for dashing off the last time I saw you - I waited outside for a while but had to give up and go home. I've also lost your phone number - again. Can you text it to OH's phone number if you still have it pls?).

I've tried for a couple of weeks to catch up on what's been happening in the threads with the glitches and have even managed to make use of a couple (OH did the hard work - no doubt he'll be getting even more ACM print outs for handbag dot com :D) so a big thanks to whoever found them and posted about them x Also, thanks to all those that have posted up their pictures - it made me realise that I wasn't the only Boots nutcase around ;)

There were a few PM's that I left unanswered before I took my 'Boots sabbatical' so apologies to the lovely people who sent them - you know who you are :) and I'll try to reply to them all asap. I'm not sure if my usual email address is still active as it hasn't been used since June :o but if it is inactive I'll open a new one and send PM's to ask for any lost email adds if that's ok.

    pollsdolls, what can I say?

You, probably more than anyone, knows that I'm not very good with words when it comes to illnesses, but it's suffice to say that reading your post knocked me sideways. I tried to reply to it but it would have taken up a full page. Other people have put into words what I wished I could (and more eloquently) so I sincerely pray that your results bring you nothing but good news. I think that some posters might think that you and I were grumpy old women at times ;) but if they could read some of the hilarious mails that you've sent, they'd think otherwise :D (I only have to see mushy peas, yorkshire pudding and mash and I'm in stitches :)) We all need a pollsdolls in our lives xx

Rubes mentioned the sad events that happened to the mum from Liverpool ...(I'm so sorry but I've forgotten your full user name :( ) ... but my thoughts were with you, and still are. xxx

    dotchas

Looking back in the older threads I noticed that you'd been going through a bad time yourself and I hope that you also return to full health - and soon. You're another lovely poster that goes out of their way to help people. Best wishes xx

To get back on topic (whatever that is ;)) Rubes explained how the TS glitch worked. It worked a treat for OH (I daren't try it lol) as he got 2 x items for £1.01 Thankfully he did try it first as when I tried it came to £7.00 ....! I've left him to do the Bootsing since then but have ended up with about 20 TS products for curly hair  I'm trying to pluck up the courage to ask him to return them as I have the straightest hair imaginable :D

Sorry for the length of this 'quick' post :o I'll be back posting soon. Keep up the good work girls (and guys) and thanks again for any PMs and mails and to cpg for the threads.

P.S. I noticed that some of you were getting the summer palette thingy for £9.50 (metallic case in a plastic sleeve?). These were on offer in a local store just after/before the Bank Holiday and if you bought the No7 P&P hand cream for £10.50 (or thereabouts) they were giving this away for free and you could use the pink till split so the price was only about £5.50 for the two. Without thinking, (because I'm still a ditz) and because I can't use the P&P, I only bought one lot but I'll check to see if it's still on when I next go in.and try to stock up in case anyone wants any.

If .comloverlee is reading and is thinking of travelling to Bridlington again - it's not worth the travelling unless you need the Boots mag :) I plucked up the courage to go there yesterday and it was rubbish. Sod's law lol.

Take care peeps. Cya soon xxx
Passion8, :hello: great to hear from you, been wondering where you were, sad to hear of your flood. Hope to see you back posting soon ;):D

Hi, i have not been bootsing like i should(could) for a while as i have been mending after my operation.
And i spend far too much time comping to keep as up to date on my bootsing.
Well i have begun to run low on some stuff and, I am gonna be an aunty.Yeah.

I was kinda hoping that someone had spare baby vouchers, gave mine away earlier this year.

I am looking for 500 points when you spend x on baby and the free changing bag when you buy nappies.
I am gonna stock up on the baby bits and thought(hoped) someone may have spares.

I would appreciate a pm if anybody has and of course would be only too happy to cover postage.:D

Hi glad to see you back on here, I have the free baby bag voucher if you would like it, no sae necessary call it payback to all the luvvlies on here, for all our goodies lol!!
    Clixsense since 31.01.16 $122.13 Neo bux since 31.01.16 400 RR $1018.00
Swagbucks since 27.09.15 £310 amazon gc, $50.00 Steam gc £100.00 paypal 2,805 points to cash out
  • That is so out of order AM!! So what if a voucher doesn't work? If you've bought the items that the voucher covers it should be manually input!! fair enough if they want to not let you use it, but to refuse you your shop altogether?! I would have a word with CS or if you are brave enough the Team Leader herself! How dare she? You are not doing anything illegal and she should not be trying to make you feel like you are. That is totally unprofessional and is almost like a form of victimization!!

I am furious on your behalf!

Thanks Mrs BB...TBH I was totally shocked when the SA said it to me and felt as if as soon as I left the team leader would be over to see what I had purchased.

It wasn't until I sat in the car and saw the colour of my face:o that I realised how humiliated I felt

what a crap day I have had!
Went Boots and ony got 1 free sanctuary facial wash paid 99p. Got some nappies etc and split the shops so I got 2 lots of vouchers though!
Then came home and live in a ground floor maisonette and have about 5 kids sitting outside smoking Draw so went out and asked if they could at least smoke it outside as can smell it all in my house, they said no f off so I said I will call the police then and they said they will burn my house down. Phoned police straight away as felt really sick and intimidated then they were blowing it through my letterbox. This was well over an hour ago and the police aint showed up! Feel like I can't even go to bed later incase they do something.

    Aint life s*** sometimes!

That's terrible :( I hope they show up soon. Don't live in Newtown by any chance do you?... Try not to let these kids ruin the rest of your evening, no doubt the little scrotes will be off terrorising some other poor person soon enough :(

Can you ask the police to go past your home tonight and tomorrow if they are doing their rounds?
You must feel awful. Poor you.

I'd like to get my 11-year-old cousin (boy) a fragrance. Nothing fancy (nor expensive). There are lots of girly fragrances like the so! range, the morgan one, barbie, etc. But I cannot find a boyish fragrance. Can someone suggest something nice and inexpensive? TIA
Can normally get Diesel Plus Plus or Zero Plus cheap in places like TK Max, TJHughes, Wilkinson, Adsa etc
