Hi...Awwwe sorry to hear about your bad days shopping. When that happens to me...stares/certain look or followed by S-security...i tell myself 'i am not stealing the goods'. The next day i decide i will go and face them as THE GLITCHES ARE THEIR DOING ...NOT MINE!!!!!
Although, i have a weeee nervy as i walk through the boots door. lol lol

So if I - as a more mature lady - fill a shopping basket with glitches, add ONE pack of condoms only, pull out my vouchers (oo-er, missus!) and march boldly up to a till 'manned' by a lad who looks about sixteen...

Will the embarrassment factor work in my favour? Will he be so freaked out by the fact that someone over 40 still {has sex} that he'll just scan my shopping as quickly as he can, without noticing the glitches..? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: (Yikes, once you mention 'condoms' in a post, it seems to fill up with double entendres! )

Cunning plan; total naivety about the worldliness of today's youth; just plain evil; or worth a try?

Hiya,
Birmingham are slightly stingy with the clearance - you really have to hunt! the big Boots high street one have some downstairs by the baby paying desk or sometimes up top floor by the end of shampoos right at back of shop towards the food area. Never really seen clerance in the Bullring one though. Is very hit and miss with both stores.

There is a cheaper one at £4.97 I got one today, I think the £6 odd ones is either for sensitive skin or fragrance free cant seem to rmbr off the top of my head

pmsl it does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! have had a similar experience when the poor young lad was in bits and soooooooooooo red all the others where taking the mick :rolleyes: i bet he never lived it down.. to his credit tho he did finally get himself together and apologise for being so unproffesional (sp) (his words) which only made him blush again!!!! lol :rotfl:
