Wychwood Beers in Aldi - £1.09 a bottle

Just been into my local Aldi and they have 3 different Wychwood beers all for £1.09 per 500ml Bottle. Usual Aldi price £1.39, usual big supermarket price around £1.50 - £1.80.
They don't have Hobgoblin, but they do have Fiddlers Elbow, Black Wych (a stout), and White Wych. I got enough to not only keep me going for the weekend, but also enough caps to send off for one of thier T-shirts.
Quality Ale at a bargin price!! (over 18's only of course etc, etc)

Cheers for that I'll nip down in a bit, I've had the Black Wych before which was good but I'll have a go at the White one now. Might go well with my curry tomorrow night. You can't go wrong with carpet bombing...0

This is is a good price.
For those who don't have an Aldi nearby, Asda do 4 packs of 500ml bottles of various ales on a 2 for £9 offer, working out at £1.12 per bottle. Included in this offer are 4 packs of Hobgoblin and the Wychwood mixed pack which has one bottle each of Hobgoblin, Wychcraft, Circle Master and Fiddlers Elbow.
Incidentally, Ocado are doing some good offers on bottles of ale, including single 500ml bottles of Caledonian 80/ for £1.09. They also have a number of varieties of Fuller''s beers on a 3 for 2 offer, including London Pride working out at £1.05 per bottle and Honey Dew Golden Organic Beer working out at £1.00 per bottle. Waitrose also have the Fuller's 3 for 2 offer, but they are more expensive for some reason, with the London Pride working out at £1.17 per bottle and Honey Dew working out at £1.13 per bottle

Hobgoblin is now £1.00 for a 500ml bottle in Asda. Also at this price are 550ml bottles of Newcastle Brown Ale, 500ml bottles of Spitfire Premium Ale and 500ml bottles of St Peter's Organic Ale. These are not marked online as special offers, so there is no indication of how long they will be this price.
Sainsbury's are doing 500ml bottles of Greene King Olde Trip and St Edmund's Gold Ale for £1.00 on offers ending on October 21st. They are also doing some very good deals on cans of beer, such as Tetley Smoothflow, 18 x 440ml cans for £8.00, Greene King IPA, 12 x 440ml cans for £6.00, McKewan's Export Ale, 4 x 440ml cans for £2.00 and Bass Draft Bitter, 4 x 500ml cans for £2.00. If you don't mind cans, the Bass is a really good deal at 57p per pint for a 4.4% ABV bitter.
