Silicone Cookware in Poundland

Just been to Poundland in Altrincham and bought a cake ring mould and muffin mould made from Silicone for £1 each!

Have tested them and they are fantastic, will be keeping an eye out for other shapes and moulds next time I go.

Yep - they've had these at my local poundland for some months. I bought a teddy bear shaped one.
  • And I was so proud of myself when I got some in France for 6euros a piece. Now, where is my nearest Poundland ......
  • Erm I would only say buyer beware - you get what you pay for! Bought a couple of these too and had to throw one out the first time I used it. I wouldnt personally rush to Poundland especially for some!!

I have the ring mould, the teddy and the heart and they have been used time and time again without any problems, also used them for jelly!! and tbh, even if you could only use it once, for a £1 it's worth it as it's not like you use them on an every day occasion - mine are all birthday cakes etc.

I've used mine in the oven a few times and I haven't had any problems. What were you cooking in them? And why did you throw them out?
