Missing rolling pin

If I'm honest the rolling pin is not missing - I've never had one! Planned on making pizza dough in the breadmaker tonight - went out to buy a rolling pin and couldn't get one anywhere locally.
Now I either need to go out again (by car this time) or find an alternative. I've got an empty wine bottle - would that do??? I'm off to look for cylindrical items in the house - please let me know if you've any ideas. Aerosols?

I don't bother with a rolling pin for pizza, I just push it out with my hands to cover the area I want it to. (Just had it for lunch and it was fine!)0

i was watching a cook show a few weeks ago and they were making jam tarts. the chef put the pastry in between 2 sheets of clingfilm 2 rollout to save dusting the surface of worktop. I tried it and used wine bottle. It turned out fine0

wine bottle rolling pins are even better for pastry when filled with ice cold water 'cause pastry likes being cold.It matters not if you try and fail, and fail and try again; But it matters much if you try and fail, and fail to try again.

Not sure that I should admit this but I once cut a (new and clean) broom handle down to t he right length and used that as a rolling pin. It lasted many years and was only replaced recently! I won't say it's easy (or probably practical) to use this as it's so thin but if needs must...0

I've always used empty wine bottles as rolling pins.
I always seem to have them lying about....hmm...0 -
A wine bottle is a great idea. When we helped my mum bake she gave us a milk bottle to use but I'm much more likely to have a wine bottle than a milk bottle these days0

Sainsburys sell a nice wooden rolling pin for £1.49, and it's a good size too.0
