  • Hi and welcome :j

Congratulations you have a plan and thats half the battle.

you might want to post your SOA up here as well to let the good folks see where else you have save/reduce/elmininate etc. Its not just about clearing your debts but about changing the habits that got you into debt in the first palce. Believe me I know with my debt at the highest at £52K:eek:

You sound so positive and motivated the only way is for your debts to tumble:cool:

  • Sorry me again

Something just occured to me in your plan.

If by Dec 09 you've paid off two debts £3k in total then saving up to pay the next one off will only take half the time since you'll have more to save each month since you'll have two less loan repayments....so in theory you should be able to saving to pay debt 5 off in three months and then so on.

Take a look at this website which you might find useful

I would post my SOA but really, I dont want to sound arrogant but I have got it all under control as the litereally is nothing else in which I can save money on.

the good peeps on here can ALWAYS find some way of cutting back:cool:

I would put up an SOA for their perusal,as you just never know;)

  • Hi InsomniaEndsHere. Its not always about cutting back/saving but about how you are spending. Its changing the habits that keep you debt free. Its making sure you are budgeting for everything since if its not budgeted for and it still needs spending its debt.

If you can crack this now you'll be laughing.

If you can through being canny pay of the debt sooner than 3 years all the better.

The more you and throw at the debt now the sooner it will be gone.
