Think I will start getting James Wellbeloved or Science plan - both of these are recommended by my vet.
My friends Goat died and they got made into dog food, i've yet to see a goat a'l' carte goat menu! Come on!
Have you ever passed a truck full of sheep/Lambs then ate a sunday roast thinking?
We ain't talking ingredients or live stock!
It's the Bargains we want0 -
I agree. I don't think this thread is the place to be giving one's opinion on what products others should boycott - otherwise we'd be here all day trying to sort the wheat from the chaff.
Bargains only in this thread please.0 -
The microwave isnt flimsy by any means.
Unpacked it last night - gave it a wipe out and used it - its great
Very good quality and finsh - though manual. Its 800 watts Category E which is the highest category you can get. Excellent all round.0 -
andreboyle wrote:I wouldn't bother. Seriously I'd consider the Costco's own brand if you've got a card. We used to buy science plan and Iams but found the costco has almost idential ingredients but only 2% ash increase. For this small change a large 9KG bag of car food costs only £8-odd.
Our cats are extremely picky and will happily eat the Costco's food. Our vet also confirmed it as a great value high-quality product.
O/T: Another excellent one is Pets at Home own brand biscuits - the 2kg bags are £6.99. We switched from Hills Science Diet about a year ago and my cat loves it - he is very picky. The vet confirmed it is good stuff too.
Edit - sorry this is off-topic - I posted it before I had read the rest of the thread - humble apologies.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

A quick word on the Tesco Pro V Conditioner and Shampoo.
I have found that the smaller, less busy stores have stock of these items.
They are labelled as "discontinued", and the price is for the 400ml Conditioner is 83p, but scans at 41p.0 -
