remortgaging to consolidate debt, help?

Hi,
we are thinking of remortgaging to help with finances.
currently my wife solely pays the mortgage.
since we first took out the mortgage for our house, we feel it has increased in value around 40k. also my wifes salary has increased by 5k with less outgoings per month.
we are thinking of adding me on the mortage with my salary to increase chance of remortage
the aim is to release some equity (30k) to pay off all our debts . credit cards, loans etc and have a clean slate.
However at the moment around £900 per month goes on credit card/loan payments from me.
When we apply, is there anyway of saying that the £900 outgoings would be gone after the equity released would pay off our debt? My fear is that they will just see the £900 as an outgoing and therefore reduce the chance of us repaying a higher mortgage payment?
I'm after anybodys advice or experience with a similar situation.
thanks,.

It will be taken into account, i.e. if you state you're paying X debts off, the outgoing won't be counted.0
