DCM Apex

Hi! I was wondering if anyone has had any dealings with DCM Apex (or Money Solutions)?? I have been using them for some time now and I'm not sure that I can believe everything they are saying?? I just wanted to get some feedback positive as well as negative from any one else's experiences. Thanks a lot.

What are you using them for? Are they a debt management company?

If its for DMPs there are a few free options you can use who you can trust like Payplan, CCCS, National Debtline or face to face with the CAB.
  • Hi yes they are a DMC and I have been with them for just over six years now! I know there are the free ones, but to be honest I am starting to wonder whether this is still the path to go. I am considering IVA or even Bankruptcy. I have tried for so long and I still have £34,000 to go. Probably another 12 years at this rate!!! Any advice? Thanks

Well get away from the fee charging DMC for starters!

Even if that is all you do, then by more of your monthly payments actually going towards your debts you should (in theory) cut down the time to pay them off.

Talk to the agencies in the Non-profit Debt Counsellors' List to get advice on the other options. They will be able to advise you impartially whether an IVA or bankruptcy makes more sense given your circumstances. Should you fall into the tiny proportion of people that an IVA is suitable for, then CCCS can help arrange one with the minimal of fees possible.

You can also post up a Statement of Affairs here to get advice on your situation, and to see if you can do anything with your budget to clear your debts quicker.
