Can the baliffs take it if it's not mine?

Morning

This is purely hyperthetical (and I hope it stays that way) but....

My brother is travelling round the world, rather than putting his expensive stuff (Plasma TV, Surround sound system, blu ray player, Wii etc etc etc) in storage he has given it all to me to look after until he returns.

If ballifs turned up at my house, could they legally take this stuff? I have no proof that its not mine, and I'm sure if I juts told them that it was my brothers they would say something like "pull the other one" as they have heard it many times the before.

Just curious to know where I would stand really

Thanks

R
