    The ones with a current good scheme are probably the places to leave - they'll have to change eventually and the change will have to be even worse than for those that already have downgraded.

    I wouldn't put too much faith in these results, the last three people apparently all have final salary schemes with set employer contributions!
    I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?
  • a - My employer
    b - not final salary
    c - open
    d - 3% and 3%
    e - retiring currently at 60

    a) Civil Service - Premium
    b) Final salary, contracted out, 1/60ths, option to take lump sum, Full RPI indexation
    c) Closed to new entrants
    d) Employee:3.5%. Employer: whatever it takes (usually between 17% and 26.5%)
    e) Normal Retirement age: 60

    a) Large manufacturing/direct selling company
    b) Career average (was Final Salary until 2 years ago, benefits built up in that will still be paid out as such)
    c) Closed - Money Purchase to new members
    d) Employee 5% (4.75% with Salary Sacrifice), 1/65ths accrual, can pay extra 2% for 1/60ths accrual, Employer 11% (does not contribute extra for 1/60ths).
    e) 5% reduction per year of retirement prior to age 65 (use to be from 60 in Final Salary scheme).
