Kenwood FP108

Hi peeps :hello:

I have one of these, now as far as cooking goes I've not much idea, as far as gadgets goes, I've even less, can someone please dedicate a few minutes and tell me what each attachment is for, I've looked at the instructions and tbh, there no use, (well not to me anyway) :rotfl:

The only thing I can make with this machine is breadcrumbs, that's my limit :o

Okay, I've got one of these (or v. similar anyway:D )

The round white plate with silver removable blades - one blade is for grating (ideal for cheese!), one blade is for slicing (can't say I use that one much:o ).

The white bit with two silver coloured blades is for chopping and blending (I use that one a lot)

The big white thing with what looks like a lemon juicer on top is....tada...a juicer:rotfl: (not that I use that - I've got a tupperware cooksmate:D which is far quicker to clean if you're only using it for lemons - although if you've got a dozen or so oranges I would use the kenwood)

going to look at the pic again....

as these things are such a faff to wash, i must admit i rarely use mine too, and as above, juicer attachment, never

the main uses being, grating cheese, slicing cucumbers, and making pastry

which when you think about it, is a total waste of time, as its so much easier and quicker to do these things by hand (although i dont even both doing that with pastry, much easier to buy it ready-roll lol)

    Part two:

I can't see one in the picture, but I've got a third blade with my machine (No. 4) - I think this is for chipping.

The big white bit with some holes in - This is for whisking (cream or egg whites only I think) but again - not used this myself.

There's another big white bit (sorry about the technical terms:D ) that I haven't got - so no idea.

Hope this helps (and hasn't confused you even more)
