who are Ulster Bank related to (ref to rates cut)

in Mortgages & endowments
My mortgage is with Ulster Bank and my query is who is their parent bank?
I thought it was NAT West or BS but these have cut their mortgage rates and Ulster Bank NI has not. Anyone enlighten me?

    Am I right in thinking they announced rates cut yesterday. Does this mean Ulster Bank NI makes those cuts too?

    I wouldn't think that there is a direct link. They are separate banks in the same group, it makes it more likely but not guaranteed.
