    I doubt it ........... ON A SUNDAY !!!

I'm hoping that the offer will be valid for a week like the Tesco one because we'll be away on Sunday and won't be able to go then. Our Asda isn't open 24hrs (our Tesco is though) and opens at 8am in the week as far as I know.
The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water
And I look like a tramp and tramps like us

    Dear All,

As MSE site is down tomorrow - I just wanted to remind you all to grab your copies of the News of The World on Sunday for the Birds Eye goodies - yum-yum!

    Have a great weekend!
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

  • In my Asda they are in one of the end freezers next to each other just to make it that little bit easier for us!

In my ASDA (Southbank Middlesbrough) they were allowing customers to take any combination of the three items, so I had two waffles and one peas (I dont eat fish fingers)

Sorry to see that Martin Lewis added his name to this offer by putting in his column in the News of the World that you could "buy as many copies (of the paper) as you like and the coucher's valid each time" ............

All the ASDA stores seem to have run out of stock by Sunday with hundreds of irate customers on Monday being told nothing can be done.

I've phone BirdsEye - they say it is an ASDA promotion.

I've phoned ASDA - they say it is a Brid's Eye promotion.

Both have promised to get back to me. We will see.
  • They had run out of all the items in Milton Keynes yesterday lunchtime but I called in again this morning on my way to work at 9 and the freezer had been restocked so I got mine

I saw they still had quite a lot of stock in my Asda yesterday - I was disappointed that I hadn't bought more.

As far as I can remember we have never had waffles before and it's donkeys years since we had fish fingers ... but they were a real tea time treat and I will probably buy more now.;)

I waited, having been offered Asda waffles, fish fingers & peas instead, whilst they got the stock from a fresh delivery yesterday late afternoon, and filled a huge freezer with all 3 items about 6pm.

I'd got 4 vouchers but didn't really want 4 lots of Waffles (or 4 lots of peas for that matter - even though "free" £1 for just 400g is very expensive - we usually pay about £1 per kg), anyway the fish fingers were obviously the "best part" (at £1.87) of the deal.

So just took 2 waffles, 3 peas BUT 7 lots of Fish Fingers.

There was a little bit of a query at the till but CS (not aware a big delivery had just been unloaded) said rules had been relaxed from Sunday and that "mixing and matching" was allowed.

Freezer is a bit full now !!!
