How likely are we to get a Mortgage??

I am Self employed with a year's accounts..
Dh is an Agency Class 1 driver

We had debts which we paid off in 2006, there will be CCJ's on our credit file

We had a mortgage from 1997 - 99 which we did not default on. The credit problems came post mortgage.

We are desperate to move - any experts out there can tell us our chances???

Thanks

What purchase price are you looking at?

    What deposit do you have?

    What was your NET profit?
What is DH gross yearly earnings?

When were the CCJs first registered?

    right erm,...

We would look at around 120k. This is flexible, I have seen nice houses where we would want for around 100k here (South Yorks)

Have got (at the moment) access to 6k for a deposit

net profit.... erm .. without digging through accounts off the top of my head I have made about 7k since january

Dh brings home an average monthly wage of £1200

CCJ's were first registered about 2001 I think....

You will need a bigger deposit , maybe 10% or depending on your credit files a 15-20% deposit.
Get a copy of your credit file before anything else and see what 'bad credit ' is showing
