IPOQ Advise needed

Hi,

9 months after BR me and my OH have recieved a IPOQ as i have started work again. My Household income is £2025 this includes my Child Benefit and Child Tax credit for my two boys who are 5 yrs and 8 yrs.

My household expenditure i can get to £1715 but this is quite generous but takes into accoun the present food/ fuel increases etc.
This lkeaves me quite a bit surplus in theory but thats due to the kids benefits.
I never seem to have anything surplus ever and dont live an extravegant life!

My qusetion is will thay take half even though it due to my kids benefits?

Tried to post SOA but it never worked!!! After 45 mins of keying it all in

Thanks in advance

Your child benefit will not be taken into account for an IPA. If you can please post an I&E, it will help us help you.

Put higher amount and see what OR says, always worth a try.
  • Ok its worth a try, 9 month on we are nearly there and we are still alive. Not as bad as i thought although at the time it was the end of the world.

In a much happier place now, thank goodness.

I think the latest ONS (Feb 2008) data points to a figure of closer to £500 than £450 now for a family of 4.

So I would agree and say go with the higher figure and see what happens.
