Southern Comfort, can you get a cheaper "copy"?

Hello

My fave tipple is Southern Comfort with Lime cordial and Lemonade.

Southern Comfort is soooo expensive though compared to say vodka, scotch or gin which you can get supermarkets own versions of, but I never see anything that looks remotely similar to it.

Thought I had found some at Lidl, but I had got confused and bought Bourbon, which is JD and not southern comfort- doh!

Can anyone help? I am not a big drinker by any means, but I find it a nice refreshing drink once in a while and getting it cheaper is always good

I noticed that Aldi did a "Southern Comfort" the other day - can't tell you how much it is but it'll be so much cheap than actual SC

I too Love southern comfort, and too find it expensive.

I love Southern Comfort with tonic but I hate peaches so nut sure I could risk making the homemade versions!

aldi has a southern belle for £8.29

gets decent reviews if you google it

wetherspons had 'tennesee belle' a while back, in v similar bottle to SC, but not the real stuff due to some vague 'supplier problems'... (i read this as not paying their bills..?)

not quite as good, though the price was the same!

it's always worth looking for a bottle that looks simular or next to it on the shelf. i do this with malibu and peach schnapps, once the mixer is in its fine. you do have to try a few before you find the best one though!!! ie netto's schnapps is awful, morrisons malibu (bali) lovely!! but surely its part of the fun!!

I don't know if this is a cheaper version I've never tried anything but SC,
its in Asda called Deep south whiskey 70CL @ £10.48.
