I've got home today to find two letters from bailiffs one for my partners speeding fine, thats gone up to £240, another for this yrs council tax (i am still paying off last yrs and have been too streched to pay this yrs to council). theres no food in the cupboards, no gas cos the meters run out of emergency, my parters car has no MOT cos it needs a new part that we can't afford, i've pawn all my jewellry in the past to make ends meet, we're behind on loan payment and car payment...i've buried my head in the sand for too long now. i hate living like this and just want to cry.

ive made some suggestions above...Payment a day challenge:
Capital One Credit Card - £7.55/£1306.560 -
mobiles are pay as you go
there are 3 off us, and we shop at asda prices have been going up. I know what u mean about clothes, but i've still got to clothe my son, plus i work in an office where your expected to be smartly dressed
I'm on prepayment meters for gas and electricity cos we got behind on that
bailiffs want £156 per month for water ccj
my partner easyily goes through £100 a week in diesel, but theres a collegue who works at the same site as him who lives near us, they're going to start car sharing to save fual so i'm hoping it will go down0 -
Further to what has already been suggested:
perhaps you need to speak to a debt management company (one that does not charge) I dealt with CCCS a couple of years ago and they were fantastic. They will arrange to call you back for a long interview (about 1 hr) and you can decide on the best plan for you. You can pay a token amount to all of your unsecured debts to enable you to make payments to your priority debts - rent/ council tax, utilities etc. You must always pay these first as you can go to prison for not paying council tax but not for the provi! I think this may be the best option for you, please contact them or someone similar to get help.
Good luck let us know how you get on x
p.s. I work in an office and hold a professional position and all my clothes come from Charity Shops and Supermarket Sales (you wouldn't know)!

Severn trent have a charitable trust. Is it worth having a chat to your local CAB to see if an application can be made as part of a strategy to deal with your debts?
In certain cases, the Trust can also consider giving some help to meet other essential bills, household needs or priority debts.0
