    hi there
First of all how much are the debts for and what are you repaying to them. Are you with CCCS or Payplan doing a Debt Management Programme (DMP) through them or trying to get along on your own? If the latter then I suggest you phone one of these agencies in the morning (CCCS Sarah was from the CCCS so her info is spot on). They can write to your creditors on your behalf and take a lot of the stress from you.

As for your parents, I assume that they are charging you rent. I am sure that they would rather went to getting you out of debt quicker. As long as they don't know then creditors have a nasty stick to beat you with, ie 'we will keep on calling', someone will come round etc. If your parents knew then that is one less thing they can threaten you with to get you to pay up more money than you can afford.

    Now got to bed!

    Hi Garden Lover,

Read The OFT Guidelines on Debt Collection.
Write to MBNA and tell them that,
1 all communication should be in writing
2 all written communications should be in a sealed envelope
3 you are/will be working shifts ( i presume nursing will be so ) so phone calls would not be welcome as you could well be at work/asleep.

They have to agree to this, if they dont, they are breaking the Rules.
You have more protection than you think now.
    Talk to your Parents.
    Pepe

PS MBNA have been surprisingly good, agreeing to everything on my £7500 debt, out of Total £60,000, even though will take 7 years+++ to repay.
Communication is good, but not on the phone.
Oh, and unless they have a Court Order, they have no rights at your home.;)
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D
