Hiya, my idea's are a cake and champagne. A week end away, maybe a coach trip for the couple.
Mmmm pearl, makes me think of divers - What about thoose places you can visit to look around? like a pearl factory where you can see people setting pearls in jewelry, etc... the Isle of White has one I belive?
If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
    Spring begins on 21st March.

I'm not sure how much you are looking to spend. For my parents 30th we pushed the boat out and bought them a swarovski crystal oyster shell with a pearl inside. It was beautiful but about £100. The problem I find with anniversarys is that it's always easy to find something that suits for the female partner but not the male. At least this has taken pride of place on their dresser.

Mother of pearl photoframes? We got 2 lovely ones for our pearl wedding anniversary.
  • If they like seafood, then you could pay for them to have a romantic oyster dinner (i can't imagine anything more gross, but some people like it!!). Or depending on their taste you could get various household items in pearl / mother of pearl, like photoframes (as above), albums, posh dinner sets, letter openers, stuff like that.

I like the idea of the roses- if you can't think of anything made of pearl then look for something with it in the name, like a posh bath set maybe?
