Stethoscope

Hi, this really is a shot in the dark but Im looking for a Littman Master Classic II or Veterinary stethoscope. One big thing is that Id like it to be one with 32" tubing. So far ive only been able to find them at 27".

It would be great if there are any medical professionals out there that could tell me where I could get them from for the best price, i.e. wholesalers etc. or any sort fo discount that I could use. My search thus far has been fruitless.

Probably no help at all to you - but we sourced a Littman Cardiology for £50 using ebay - a big saving or so my husband tells me - and as it was for him - who am I to argue! Just make sure you check feedback ratings - and what other products they have bought or sold. Hope this is of some use - apologies if not.

From the 3M website it looks like they're now only available as a standard 27" length (probably something to do with attenuation of sounds with longer lengths). They usually retail at around the £50 mark. If you have links with a students' union, you may find that they are able to purchase in bulk and pass on the savings.
