it's not against the Ts and Cs. the link is not a referral link, no one gains from you signing up through it, except you, if you complete 15 reviews of 100 words or more.

you don't need to refer anyone to get the voucher, just complete the reviews. if you want to get a voucher by referring people, you can do that too, just so long as you don't seek to gain referrals on this board.

Either way i thought this website was against referral scheme full-stop. No matter if it was a ref link or a link to a website with referrals.

i think you've misunderstood the rules chids. half the websites on here run referral schemes. nearly all of the cashback sites do.

the main rule is, that you're only allowed to post referral links on the referrer's board

    REFERRAL POSTS

Posts from which site users gain are permitted only on the Referrers Board. This includes links to rpoints etc threads.

Any posted elsewhere will be moved to the Referrers Board. Links to the referrals board from the main forums are not allowed.

This also includes members saying "Please PM me for code" or "check my post on referrers". The overriding rule is that no advertising is allowed on the main forums.

pm one of the board guides with a link to this thread, asking them if it's okay, if you want to check it out for yourself. they'll tell you it's fine.
  • Hi there,

I signed up via the /amazon link as required and have completed 15 reviews. It is showing as having completed 15 reviews in my profile also. I finished these on Friday night, around 11pm - am yet to receive a voucher. Do I need to request the voucher, or is it automatically sent? I understand it is the weekend so perhaps I won't get it until Monday/Tuesday?

Also, with the voucher, is there a minimum spend required on Amazon? For example if I want to buy a £4.99 item and the postage is say, £2.50, would that all be covered by the £10 voucher - would I retain the excess in my Amazon account somehow?

    Thanks.
  • I read on Amazon that you can only apply discount codes to items that are sold and dispatched by Amazon.co.uk

However, on the checkout page to an item I'm interested in there is a field that says enter discount code. (Is this where I would put in the code received by TrustedPlaces)?

    My item's status is:

    In stock.
Dispatched from and sold by D2D Products.

Would I be able to utilise the Voucher for this item, once received?

In my voucher email they said

"Thank you very much for writing all those good reviews on TrustedPlaces. As promised here's your well deserved voucher. Feel free to write another 15 reviews and we'll send you another £10 Amazon Voucher. "

Im going to email them and ask.
  • Finally completed enough reviews. Partly done it for the money, but also because I know people who have tried to set up similar businesses on the internet and I know how hard it is to get people unless other people are interested. Plus I was REALLY bored at work on friday, it was a slow slow day!

Waiting to see if I get a voucher :)

Maybe your just a lucky one to get that, they did say they were doing that on an individual basis but that that promotion had finished now
