bead maker help needed please

hi
i have just been given a cookworks bread maker the model is b0906 i have found the instruction booklet online but it doesnt tell me how to program it.. i had a play last night and managed to get the bread to mix and it rose but did not cook the bread
i just wondered if anyone has this make and could tell me how to program it so that it cooks the bread as well please...

  • I have a Cookworks one too, it sounds as though you have it on the dough only setting - on mine you set it to No. 1 for a traditional white loaf, and it should take about 3 hours. When it bleeps after the first mix that is when you add the extras, like seeds or nuts. Just ignore it if you don't want anything else added.

    i think you are right i pressed white dough..the other options are mix normal and rapid
    with either white or wholemeal before that.. so am i right in thinking i should be pressing white normal???

  • Yes, white normal.
    I only tried rapid once and didn't like the result. Much better on the longer normal programme.
