    You are certainly correct in that aspect, Londondulwich. Few employers will suspend for 3 months - it's costing them a lot of money. It may be a case that is a great deal more complex than appears on the surface, or they may be a very odd company.

    They are a very odd company. If they have grounds why not dismiss me and I will take them to industrial tribunial. Why leave it to run on with no communication with me? They havent told me or shown me why they think I am guilty.

    I imagine that they originally thought that you would have left quietly by now, and maybe they have no idea how to bring things to an end?

    It's definitely worth asking for a compromise - my hubby did just that and he has walked away from a bad situation with an extra month's salary and good references as he would have taken them for constructive dismissal.
    It was a very unusual situation for him as the ops manager and the plant manager were sacked 3 days before his witch hunt/disciplinary hearing:rolleyes: - they had obviously been trying to pin lots of things on my hubby as they must have known they were on borrowed time, but even after they were escorted from the factory, my hubby was still expected to answer for things that he had no connection with and so still had no option but to leave - luckily he had the hr manager sort things out and she put his leaving through as if he had given a month's notice.
    At this point you have little to lose - have they followed proper procedure? if not then you have a good chance of negotiating with them;) - that is what happened with my hubby's case, they hadn't .
