Hi, is it possible for my girlfriend to keep her existing mortgage and move to another house of the same, or slightly higher value without proving income etc because she is on alot lower salary now than when she took the mortgage out and I will be able to help with the costs but I am going BR so cant be named on the mortgage. Thanks for any help!

No, the mortgage will be underwritten again so she still need proof of income etc0

Ok thanks, do they take into account Tax credits and also could she say that she is renting a room to me which would more than cover the lower wages?0

Tax credits - depends on the lender.
Room rent - no.0 -
Sorry to be a pain, again! Do the lenders take child benefits and maintainence into account?0

Again depends on lender. If you can provide a breakdown of income, mortgage amount, property value and which lender we can take a look for you to see if it's viable.0
