CCJ's showing up with other checks and not eqifax

Hi All,
I'm really hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. I recently applied to rent a property where my prospctive letting agent did a credit check on me. It came back that I had 2 CCJ'S totaling around the 4k mark.
Now this is where it gets odd - I signed up to Experian/Equifax and it says I have 1 ccj (It calls it a defaul tnot sure if its the same thing) for £700.
Firstly - I disputed this CCJ at the time, by both calling the number on the letter and writing to them at the same time. NEVER heard any more about it. I haven't had any correspondance since regarding this matter and I dont pay anything out to the court.
Why would the credit reports be different? Help!!
