  • I budget £140 a month for food and household stuff like loo roll and cleaning products. Although am seeing if I can do this for £90 this month. I budget £25 a month for going out. Tonight orange 2 for 1 in cinema, then 2 for 1 voucher for ASK to eat tomorrow. Try to drink before I leave home if I'm not driving so that I am already a bit 'merry'

i aim to spend no more than £35 a week on food; if my boyfriend is staying he usually gives me a tenner towards it which obviously helps too.

Well, I keep my freezer stocked and buy stuff in bulk like loo rolls (I buy the 24 roll packs in Lidl). I make lists of what I need and if I don't get it then I do without.

My shopping bill earlier this month was £21.20 although I have been out since and stocked up with milk but even then my bill is less than £25.

there is 2 of us and we spend £100 a month and that is everything.... if it was just me i could do it for about £35 because oh it a bit more fussy the best thing is to make a list and stick to it decide where you wanna shop and what you will get and dont be afraid to go round 3 -4 diferent shops to make the £££ strech further good luck
  • Hi! I try to be inventive with my eating! Tesco do a 9p pancake batter and lemons cost 15p! This makes 3 weekend brunch pancakes and the the leftovers can be used next day for savoury pancakes with cous cous and veg. tasty! I have a small appetite and so I opt for childs portions for takeaways and eating out! Saves a fortune and stops food being wasted!
