free yeast-not in the Bromsgrove Asda

 The cost of bread being what it is I decided to make my own. I saw on your website that people have approached the bread counter in Asda and Tescos to request a small amount of fresh yeast. Baker at the Bromsgrove Asda was very unpleasant, said they didn't sell it and I couldn't have any. Very disappointed, has anyone else had the same experience?

They're snooty beggars in Bromsgrove Asda which is why I and even my mother have stopped shopping there plus you have to pay for parking.
You could try Morrisons out towards Stoke Heath on the Bypass - free parking too. I am not saying that they will have any but its worth a go (I never bake my own bread but maybe I should start
).
You could also try Three Cooks in Bromsgrove High Street as I think they make bread or better still there is a small bakery down below what was Baylis's on the Worcester Road who always seem to be friendly, you could try in there.
